Diet Pancakes
I had this enduring problem for years. Every Saturday morning I’d wake up and the kids would demand pancakes. Its not that I minded making them, but I always knew I’d end up eating more than they would. This is a recipe for quick and easy diet pancakes. Yes, you heard right, DIET pancakes, no fat and no sugar. It saves lives.
Ingredients Include:
- 2 egg whites
- 1 cup of buttermilk
- 2/3 tablespoons of sugar free applesauce
- 1 cup of flour
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- Half a teaspoon of baking soda
- Half a teaspoon of salt
There’s no particular order for adding these ingredients together, I usually sift the flour first with the baking powder, soda and salt and then add in the wet items. Heat your pan well, layering it with non stick spray and away you go.
Serve your diet pancakes with fruit or more applesauce.
